“Oils” contain the light and the strength of the sun, which is why it is so alive and organic. I appreciate it’s mystery.

I work on canvas, wood and paper, taking care to be technologically exact.

I mainly paint in oil, often on an acrylic base which may or may not be revealed. Sometimes charcoal, pastels or inks are introduced, all of these tools used in quite a „physical” way. 

My paintings are studies which, as complete works in themselves, try to get closer to the utopian archetype of painting.
